Jan 31 (Reuters) – A Russian court docket on Tuesday fined streaming service Twitch 4 million roubles ($57,000) for failing to take away what it stated have been “fakes” about Russia’s army marketing campaign in Ukraine, the Interfax information company reported.
Twitch, which is owned by Amazon (AMZN.O), didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
Moscow has lengthy objected to international tech platforms’ distribution of content material that falls foul of its restrictions, with Russian courts commonly imposing penalties.
