Oct 26 (Reuters) – Skechers USA Inc (SKX.N) stated on Wednesday its executives escorted Ye, previously generally known as Kanye West, out of a Los Angeles company workplace, after the rapper and designer “confirmed up unannounced and uninvited”.
The footwear maker “has no intention of working with West,” it stated in an announcement.
Skechers’ feedback come a day after sportswear model Adidas AG (ADSGn.DE) ended its partnership with West, following a collection of antisemitic feedback from the movie star.
“We condemn his current divisive remarks and don’t tolerate antisemitism or some other type of hate speech,” Skechers stated.
Reuters was not instantly capable of contact Ye’s representatives for remark.
Attire firm Hole Inc (GPS.N), which terminated its tie-up with West in September, can be taking quick steps to take away Yeezy Hole merchandise from its shops and shut down YeezyGap.com.
Shares of California-based Skechers have been up practically 1% in prolonged buying and selling, after closing down practically 10% on Wednesday.
