WASHINGTON, Dec 23 (Reuters) – The U.S. awarded protection contracts to corporations on Friday, together with considered one of over a billion {dollars} to Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT.N), the Division of Protection stated in an announcement.
“This contract procures lengthy lead time supplies, elements, parts, and efforts crucial to keep up on-time manufacturing and supply of 118 Lot 18 plane F-35 plane for the Air Power, Marine Corps, Navy, non-U.S Division of Protection contributors, and Overseas Army Gross sales clients,” the division stated on the $1.05 billion Lockheed contract.
Earlier this month, Lockheed Martin obtained a Protection Division contract value $431 million to ship new Excessive Mobility Artillery Rocket Programs (HIMARS) and help providers for the U.S. Military and its overseas allies.
Individually, Boeing Co (BA.N) was awarded a $497 million firm-fixed-price contract for CH-47F helicopters, the division stated on Friday, including Dec. 30, 2025, was the estimated contract completion date.
